The view is superb right from the room balcony. The hosts are great with their hospitality and personalised services. You feel like home right away. We chit chat everyday like an old friend. Breakfast is nice too. The guesthouse is on Gado-Gado hill and it is close to the paragliding base. Perfect sunset view.

Best place ever to chill and feel part of the jungle. I did not want to leave. The food is incredible and all the team are so friendly. Recommend to book your jungle trek also, we did 2 days which was perfect. Amazing experience and amazing spot. Thank you :)

SeaGate Bungalows ligger precis stranden i Sabang och har en trädgård och en egen strand. Det finns en terrass och gäster har tillgång till gratis WiFi och gratis privat parkering. I have stayed 4 days at SeaGate bungalows and it’s a beautiful place, I didn’t want to leave. Borja y Yuyun (the owners) are very caring and even after just few days the place felt more like a home away from home. It’s one of the best places I have stayed and I highly recommend it!

Kaesa Homestay ligger i Berastagi, 25 km från Mount Sinabung, och erbjuder boende med tillgång till en trädgård med en terrass. The family that runs the homestay are nice and knowledgeable and happy to give advice on my stay in Beristagi. The mum also took the time to take me along with part of her day because I was interested in shopping at the traditional market. My stay was very comfortable and I highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay

Sumatra Cheeky Monkeys ligger i Bukit Lawang och har en trädgård, en gemensam lounge, en terrass och en restaurang. Bland de olika faciliteterna på detta boende finns en bar och grillmöjligheter. I stayed at the place for 2 nights, had a great tour with two guides working with the cheeky monkey. We saw monkeys, Orangutans(my two guides found them after about 2 hours of Trekking in the jungle), turtle, insects, plants, did a great tour for one day. Including rafting for about +/- 50 Euros/USD. The food in the cheeky monkey is quite expensive compared to other places in bukit lawang but it was really good. It definitely a recommendation, try the Gado-Gado - a vegetarian food. Chris from Austria

Smiley's Homestay ligger i Berastagi och erbjuder boende inom 24 km från Mount Sinabung. Det finns gratis WiFi i alla utrymmen. Väldigt härliga värdar som visade runt mig i området och erbjöd god frukost på morgonen. Sen var även sängarna väldigt bekväma och man bodde nära centrala Berastagi.

Fun Family Guest House n Jungle Tour ligger i Bukit Lawang. Detta pensionat med 2 stjärnor har ett gemensamt kök och bagageförvaring. Gästerna kan njuta av utsikten över floden. Accommodation with a great view and a great restaurant right across the river. The owner, Putra, was very helpful and positive. There was nothing he couldn't arrange. I especially recommend going on a jungle trek with him because he definitely knows what he's doing.

Walur Surf Villa ligger i Krui, en kort bit från Walur strand, och erbjuder boende med gratis WiFi, luftkonditionering och tillgång till en trädgård med en terrass. This was an awesome place to stay, it’s clean and simple in a great location. However, what sets this villa apart is the owner, Frenki. He is very kind and is able to help you with anything you need. He organized us car rides, scooter rentals, and visa extensions. During our stay we got sick, he took us to the doctor and helped us get antibiotics. At the hospital my brother needed stitches, he dropped everything to come right away to help us. Night after night he showed us great local places to eat. Frenki really cares about his guests and wants them to enjoy krui. I would highly recommend staying here!
